eFTI4LIVE
eFTI4LIVE is an initiative co-funded by the European Union under the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) programme. The project unites a consortium of 55 partners from 18 EU Member States to accelerate the large-scale implementation of the Electronic Freight Transport Information (eFTI) Regulation across Europe by connecting national ICT systems, closing participation gaps, and fostering interoperability.
The project focus on developing and testing eFTI platforms to enable seamless and secure data exchange across transport modes and borders, while exploring innovations such as platform pre-certification, digital identity wallets, and real-world multimodal transport pilots. These efforts will help authorities and businesses prepare for the Regulation’s full enforcement in 2027. eFTI4LIVE also contributes to the creation of a Single European Digital Enforcement Area (SEDEA), promotes the uptake of digital tools such as e-CMR, and aligns with the development of European Data Spaces – advancing the EU’s vision for a connected, data-driven, and sustainable transport ecosystem.
In eFTI4LIVE, Magellan Circle leads the Communication and Capacity Building Work Package.
