IRail aims at ensuring interoperability within transport modes and the removal of administrative and technical barriers, in particular in terms ofthe interoperability ofthe trans-European transport network. In doing so, the Action addresses implementation of the requirements resultant from the interoperability Directive No. 797/EC/20I6 and the Safety Directive 798/EC/2016.
