João holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Ecology and Environment from the University of Porto, and is currently completing a Master’s in Economy and Environmental Management at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto. Previously, he developed research work in ecology and biodiversity at CIBIO-InBio and participated in environmental impact and conservation projects. He has over 4 years of experience in sustainability and environmental management, working across corporate and European-funded projects, with a focus on climate action, carbon footprint reduction, and the implementation and coordination of sustainability initiatives in organizational contexts.
